A townhouse sits between an apartment and a freestanding house: your own front door and usually your own garage, without the land and upkeep of a full block.
For a lot of buyers that is the practical middle. You get more internal space than an equivalently priced apartment and normally a small courtyard or garden, while the building itself is new, so there is nothing to renovate and the warranties are current. Townhouse developments tend to be far smaller than apartment towers, sometimes only a handful of homes, which means stock moves quickly and there is less of it.
The projects below are the townhouse and house developments we currently represent, with the configurations still available and what they start at.

A townhouse is normally multi-storey with its own street entrance and often its own garage and courtyard. An apartment is a single level within a larger building with shared entrances and common areas. Townhouses usually give more internal space for the money; apartments usually give more shared amenity and a more central location.
Usually yes, but they are typically lower than an apartment tower's because there is far less common property to maintain, often just driveways, fencing and shared landscaping rather than lifts, pools and gyms. The exact fee is set out in the contract for each development.
It depends how far along construction is. Earlier in a project there is often a choice between colour schemes or upgrade packages; closer to completion the finishes are usually fixed. The project page shows where each development is up to, and we can confirm what is still open.
New residential building work in Australia carries statutory warranty protection, with the period and the insurance arrangements set by each state. The specifics for a given project are in its contract documents, and your conveyancer should confirm them before you sign.
